Personality: Duke has always been a friendly kind of guy but selects his friends. He’s a calm, level headed and easy to reason with. He still keeps to himself most times because people still see him as a Global Government Soldier. He takes his orders and missions seriously and doesn’t ask too much questions. But one good thing about him, is that he is sincere (To a scary degree)

Backstory: Duke comes from a long linage of knighthood. So even thou they are in recent times, he still has a Knight armor made for him and it’s also customary for a member from such royal family to train as a knight. As the years went by, Duke joined a group of vigilantes that help protect the people, but unknown to him the Vigilante group is under the supervision of the Global Government.

One day he received news that a large numbers of bats were scaring people away from a village. He and a few other men went to the village and there they encountered the bats. The bats start attacking them but they fought back, until when the bats retreated into a cave not far from the village. Duke and his men followed into the cave. Unknown to them, it was a trap. multiple bats swooped and attacked them, killing all of Duke’s men. Duke was the only one standing after the assault from the bats. Then a small figure of a bat (Cipher) saw the determination in Duke’s eyes and said: “At last, I have found a body worthy of my existence.” The normal bats held down Duke, and then cipher entered Duke’s body from his left ear. As Duke transformed into symbiote form, the memory of the huge bat merged with Duke’s own. That’s when Duke saw what the Global Government has been doing and how the huge bat was formed. With that, Duke didn’t return back to the group. For months he wandered alone until he heard about The Harmony as a passing rumor. He decided to go there and join them for he had nowhere else to go.

Parasite type: Nyctimene certans (A mega-bat in the Pteropodidae Family)
Parasite name: Mega Ghoul Bat mark 11 (Cipher)

Origin: Cipher is the genetic mutation of experimental enhanced bats. Cipher is the 11th cross breed of the experiment. Nyctimene certans bats usually have the Latin ability of leadership over the regular bats. But the experiment tends to enhance that ability to the level of mind control. At a point the experiment got too painful, so a scientist unlocked the tube holding cipher and helped him escape. Cipher doesn't understand why the scientist helped him and he doesn't care. He just wants to destroy the Global Government for what they did to him. Since then he hid in the caves waiting for the right host for his existence.

The Infection: He forced himself into Duke’s left ear when he was restrained.
Personality: He has a sense of authority, followed up with the determination to destroy the Global Government. But since he came in contact with Duke, Duke seems to have tamed that rage. Once in awhile Cipher makes some hilarious comments about Duke’s wardrobe. (That is, he’s taste of clothes)

Extra Facts:

- The white glow on Cipher’s wings is nothing more than a sign to show that he’s been experimented on.
- Ever since his contact with Cipher, he’s always found eating away at a fruit somewhere.
- He can see well in the dark and he can call upon normal bats (the regular kind)
- Since he came in contact with Cipher, he abandoned the way of a Knight I.e. Stopped using weapons.
- He still likes dressing as a knight, maybe he’s used to it or a sense of loyalty to his ancestors, or a reminder of his old self. (We don’t know)
